To use the the official login in screnn to slander someone, and thereby using the tools given by CCP, to play this game, is wrong, very wrong.
Not one of the CEO's mentioned here have been contacted, Not one of our Amarrian CEO's have been contacted. I demand an apology, and i will continue this untill we have redemption.
And if the forum moderator locks this tread it will only show how biased they are.
Chill out ,it's a game. This is supposed to be RP. I would be falttered if the game I paid for monthly actually took the time to write an article about my organization, good or bad. How many other MMOG's have you played, where you actually had an effect on the monthly news report? I have RP'd in many MMOG's, like EQ, ENB and DAOC and never, ever, ever recieved any recognition by the development teams of these games. This article does not effect a single one of your in game stats, it does not nerf, it does not effect your sec rating. Instead of making this belly aching post, respond in a constructive and creative manner like Viqer and make a Press Release.
I have a great deal of respect for all the RP corps out there like PFOM, PIE, Jericho, and many others and formerly Oracle (If you represent the whole corp). It's supposed to be fun but if you take it personally, then you are perahaps a bit too sensitive. I have been in some harsh debates with the Gallente and I have exchanged quit a few threats, but they have all been in fun and part of the "GAME". It is 'Role Playing'. This just in, I have spoke to players like Viceroy and he isn't really a terrorist set on the destruction of all Gallente and the freedom of Caldari Prime, but his character is.
I know this entire post is OOC but I can't stand to see role players who get upset and throw a tantrum and take in character events and statements personally. I read the news article and at no point does it attack any player on a personal level. I think it's pretty cool that NPC leaders mention your corporations. What do you want? Bags of free loot as thank you for "all you've done"? I guarantee if that happened, then all the power gamers we love so much would start a thread ranting about how unfair that was.
You wanted to be famous, you wanted to be notorious. You secured a swathe of space beyond the secure home empire space, and now your going to rant out of character about a news story? Sorry for such a long OOC rant, and a personal apology to you Viqer for putting this on your thread that responds to the article in a very creative IC press release, but I just needed to say something in response to your associate's OOC comments.
I also wish to apologise to the moderators and promise to keep it IC from this point forward.
